I don’t know if I want to garden this year. Too much work. Of course, this is the year that I really need to be growing vegetables. I can’t even decide on what vegetables I would want. My energy is drained.
I don’t typically grow flowers, but I might like to try some in the garden this year. I will definitely grow herbs, though. I love to have fresh basil. I also use cilantro, but not so regularly that it doesn’t go bad. I’ve grown it in my garden before and it would be great, not to mention less expensive, to have my own supply.
I managed to fast on Tuesday. Trust me, it was a battle. I guess I’ve got a few things on my mind that are keeping me from staying as focused as I need to be on my intermittent fasting.
I’m also trying to decide if I should apply for a mortgage forbearance. Also, my aunt in another state passed away recently and her children are holding a virtual memorial service on Facebook live Saturday. I feeling pretty sad about there not being a funeral.
I thawed 2 1/2 pounds of ground beef that I had frozen back in February. Usually, I freeze ground beef in 1 lb. portions, but I was going to use the larger amount to make chili for a party I was to attend. But with the pandemic, the party, of course was cancelled. So I had to figure out what to make with the 2 1/2 lbs. I decided on chili, taco pie, a burger and just some sauteed ground beef with onion.
